So Whitey got chicken flavored instead of tuna flavored Doxycycline. Something about it needing to be an oil base for this particular med and that meant chicken. I updated on Facebook last night but in a nutshell, it still sucks but it is much better :
- far more palatable
- far less volume to get in him (1 ml twice a day in a teeny syringe which I can just squirt in through the side of his cheek vs. 6 ml meds followed by 6 ml of water once a day in a HUGE syringe )
- Whitey did not hate me afterward for 12 hours (See above photo taken immediately after administering his meds)
- far less stressful for Whitey which makes if far less stressful for me

That's for my knee. I finally decided to try something for it. You know, other than complaining.
