Maybe after they get used to each other, they will start playing and stop hissing. It hasn't happened in our house yet, but Mom thinks we just need more room.
Oh we are so glad Whitey is even considering play - he must be feeling much better. You've made our day. Do keep us informed - for some reason we've been thinking abut Whitey a lot - he was in such a sorry state when you found him.

It looks like Feather is already sharing whether she likes it or not! Hope they get used to each other (I'm pretty sure they will!) Big purrs to both of them.
Wow my housemate Missy and I are always hissing at one another. Most of the time we are just playing but our female person always makes us stop. She just doesn't understand this is one way we communicate.
We have been behind in our blogging with our sneezy mum, and have only just caught up on Whitey's story. We thank Heaven that there are people like your mum and Uncle Alan in this world. If you boys don't mind, can you please give them great big smoochies from us?
Whitey, we are sending huge healing and comforting purrs. Feather is a beautiful sweet girl, and we bet she would be a great friend if you let her :)
That is so good that Whitey wants to play with Feather. Hopefully they can get along well soon. Maybe Feather thought that Whitey should rest a bit because of his injury - it wasn't to me mean, it was out of concern.
Miss Feather I am sure that Whitney is a wonderful boys and once you get used to some company you will loves it.. nothing nicer than having a brofur or sisfur :))) Anyways us kitties haves to stick together and Whitney needs some serious looking after right now :)) V-V

I hope that you will play sometime!
