During their visit last week my uncle was quite taken with my Grayness, as you can clearly see.
Talk about Paparazzi! But after all... who can really blame him? I am quite irresistibly Furry, Floofy and Gray! I am...
Grayson the Flauschie!

And her 4 brothers! Don't you worry... this tiny 2-pound wonder has no problem keeping them all in line.
Head on over to Kimmie's of Pretty Amazing Grace to see more Awwwww...Mondays.
Mom visited these woofies in Florida when she brought our Nana down to visit her best friend! Yup, she played with all of them. ::sigh::
Most importantly, they have been admiring our Grayness, so we think that counts heavily in their favor and therefore, we will let them stay a bit longer.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Today we have a quote about learning for you to consider. It was made by Mark Twain. And here it is...

We were just wondering... Do you think it is True or False? And should we make it a Mancat Monday Motto?
We are taking a blogcation for a while. We do not really know for how long. Mom has been overwhelmed at work and there have been so many sad goodbyes in the Cat Blogosphere lately that have taken an emotional toll on Mom as well.
We have enjoyed getting to know all of you and being part of such a wonderful community of kitties over this past year. It has brought us more joy and laughter and sadness and tears than we ever could have imagined.
Don't worry, we'll be lurking every now and then.
With great fondness,

We found this neat-o web site that has all sorts of cool stuff. You know once we saw this squirrel the cartoon strip was already written in our brains!
But this is how this one akshully played out...
That Evil Squirrel ran faster than a speeding bullet when he saw Grayson had him in his sights! Exit! Stage Right! he he he.
Just you wait Evil Squirrell... One of these days...
Happy Saturday, everybuddy!
Kimo and Sabi issued everycat kind of a fun challenge- Kimo: We challenge all of you to visit some new pet bloggers this year (or one's you don't know furry well yet).
Just when we thought we'd met everycat, we found out that Kimo and Sabi have over 400 cats on their blogroll! Whoa!
So we decided to meet the challenge!
We met Franklin, Dobby the Tabby, and the lovely Miss Tasha over at Mishkat. This one may not akshully count because they visited us first, and we are very glad they did. We think Franklin may be Gandalf's twin!
We went over
Do you remember a little while back when Mom said Grayson was the color of dirt? Well, just look at what the dirt is doing!
Our Grampy planted some new grass seed on the new dirt and now it is sprouting tender shoots of nom, nom, nommy new grass!
Does this mean Grayson is Green?
Happy Finally Friday, everybuddy!
I am very sad to report that today's paper reports that Little Jim has also succumbed to his burn injuries. He had been taken to The University of Florida for skin grafts. Little Jim is now at the bridge. Grayson and I know you are in very good paws now, Little Jim, and we know that many cats and dogs are rejoicing to see you all well and happy again.
I am very glad that the paper says that Blackie is expected to make a full recovery! I hope you live a life of health, happiness, and enjoy every delight and luxury that can be afforded to a kitty, Blackie! Grayson and I will keep you in our purrs.
Both the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office and the Humane Society of the United States are offering rewards for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the burning of the cats.
The Humane Society is offering up to $2,500 for information.
Grayson and I sure hope they find the guilty party.
We told Mom we wanted to be completely spontaneous today, so we are throwing caution to the wind! We are doing our reader list backwards. Instead of going A-Z, we are doing Zoolatry to A Day in the Life of Harry the Kitten today! Zaney Grays, aren't we?
But today of all days, Harry doesn't seem to have a new post yet. What's up with that? (We do our posts in advance, so today's post is not today's post, and today's photo may not necessarily be today's photo, if that makes sense!)
So today's Mancat Monday Motto is to be spontaneous!
and
PS. Did you get it? Zaney Grays? Akshully, it should be Zaney Greys. hahaha! We crack ourselves up sometimes.
I prefer the kind of work I can do with my feet up and my eyes closed. -Purry Logic
I was napping so good, even the flash did not bother me!
In other news: Mom saw this on Cute Overload the other day and was laffin' and laffin' so hard, her eyes were leaking and she had to leave the computer room!
From 1973-2004 Mom had Pekes and shepherd-mixes. Sha Na, who went to the bridge about a month after Mom brought us home, was a cream colored Peke. Our Auntie (My Bellavia) has a Bichon named Scooter. 'Nuff said.
Purrsonally, I happen to like Rule 32, and plan to keep it handy... you know, just in the event...
We are very sorry we couldn't get around to visit everybuddy yesterday. Mom was really busy, busy, busy yesterday at the office. Mom insists that given the current economic climate, that is a very good thing.
Yeah. Whatever, Mom.
Mom made me go to the Vet for my annual checkup yesterday. Dr. Tad told Mom that I looked great! Mom said, Thanks. I know that!
Something very unusual came out of my mouth while I was there. Guess what I said?
Hisssss! Mom never heard me hissing before then. And I got all Growly, too. Mom never heard me growl before either. The Vet Tech was trying to steal my poops!
Dr. Tad said my teeths, eyes and ears looked great, and that my heart, lungs and tummy all sounded great. He also said that I weighed 11.9 pounds and that was great. And I had a shot. Not so great! Then Dr. Tad said he really didn't think he needed to check my temperature after all.
Great! And that is all I have to say about that!
