Mom says since we are having to share her blog now, we can play The Story Game once in a while too... assuming anycats are interested in writing more great stories every now and then!
The beginning of the story is here.
Here's a screen shot of today's post on the new digs.
We’re going to be doing a lot of this today!
Mom and our Nana and Grampy are on pins and needles waiting to hear that Mom’s niece has had the new baby Grandniece! Baby Aria was due on the 17th and nobuddy in the family is especially pleased that baby Aria has decided to arrive late!
It’s very exciting!
We hope everybuddy has a nice an Sunshiney Sunday!

Ash says he like to do his thinking from his chair. As you can see, we like the table!
Since we are doing a Tattletale Tuesday, we thought we should do a tattletale on ourselves, too. Yesterday some of you wondered if we ever spilled Mom’s wine… Yes, but only once, and it was akshully our Nana’s fault. Let us explain.
As you know, we cats are all very gifted athletes. Not only do we have Super Power hearing and vision, we also have exceptional leaping skills, even onto very small or very crowded areas. Well, our Nana has many chotchkies on the table where Nana and Grampy watch TV – a small lamp, a blood pressure cuff, notebook and paper, the day’s paper, Grampy’s crossword puzzle, a flashlight, the TV remote, a calendar, Mom and Nana’s wine glass, Grampy’s soda can… all kinds of krap!
There is barely room for one Gray Boy, let alone two, but somehow we always manage to squeeze in!
Well, this one time our Nana thought we were going to tip over the wine and she grabbed for the glass… and knocked it over. Nana still blames us. Her argument is that if we weren’t so close to the glass she wouldn’t have gotten nervous about us knocking it over. We think you can see the truth of it.
And now for a little Show and Tell. Well, mostly tell. Yesterday lots of you asked how we did that animated gif. Mom uses several different photo editors, and yesterday she used a neat little photo editor named Photoscape. It does all sorts of wonderful things! But best of all, it does them all for Free. Mom loves Free. Free is very, very good. Mom also did the reflection in today's photo with Photoscape. We think you should go download it right now and start playing with it. Well... right after you comment! hahaha!
Have a careFree photo-editing day!
Today we would like to show you something magical. We both have gray furs with a very unusual ability. Depending upon the light, our furs are sometimes brownish and match the bark on our Pecan trees and our dirt. Other times our furs are a cool gray with hues of blue. In artificial light our furs are sometimes a very warm gray with red undertones. But Gandalf’s furs have something that even Grayson’s furs do not have! Sometimes, Gandalf’s furs look Violet! Can you see the violet tones in a few of these photos?
Mom says Gandalf is a magical cat!
We hope everybuddy is taking it easy and soaking up lots of sunshines today! And we certainly hope the Easter Bunny brought you a lovely basket full of wonderful toys and treats. Mom emailed the Easter Bunny and told him to take us off his list this year because we did not play with any of the toys he brought last year. This does not seem at all fair to us. After all, we eated all of the Temptations!
We wish you all a very Hoppy, Happy Easter!
Are you ready for Friday, everybuddy?
This week seems to really need a Friday about now, don’t ya think?!
Mom asked me if I was ready for Friday and you can see my reaction. Mom can’t decide if I was astonished by the question or bored to tears or even something else.
You be the judge!
OK, it’s time to kick off the weekend! Everybuddy DANCE!
♫ Monday morning feels so bad,
Everybody seems to nag me
Coming Tuesday I feel better,
Even my old man looks good,
Wednesday just don't go,
Thursday goes too slow,
I've got Friday on my mind! ♫
♫ Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue and grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills,
Sketch the trees and the daffodils,
Catch the breeze and the winter chills,
In colors on the snowy linen land. ♫
