About Whitey
Once upon a time Whitey wuz a stray in Mom's neighborhood. Mom and Uncle Daddy tried to catch Whitey for a long time. Every day Uncle Daddy would leave foods on his front porch and Whitey would come gobble it all up. Whitey had the hungrumblies real bad.
This photo wuz taken on March 30, 2009, about 6 weeks before Uncle Daddy gotcha'd Whitey. Whitey looked much worse than this when Uncle Daddy gotcha'd me, but Mom did not have the heart to take a photo of Whitey before they took me to the Vet. The injury had abscessed and spread to mai face and eye. Whitey had a nasty odor, too. Whitey wuz badly matted and very thin.
First Mom had the Vet test Whitey for Feline Leukemia and FIV Virus and got the best news – no disease! Hooray!
So Whitey got “The Works”! While under anesthesia, the dead tissue wuz cut away and mai wounds were cleaned. Whitey wuz neutered, bathed and combed. Whitey had all mai shots. Mom and Uncle Allen picked Whitey and brought me to Mom’s office at The Swamp so Whitey could heal. Whitey got foods and love. Whitey liked!
And guess what? Now we have a new sister that we have not even met yet. Her name iz Gracie, and she iz at the Swamp with Mom. We will all be living together there pretty soon. Gracie's blog iz HERE.
Anyway. Whitey iz very glad you found me. Iz gud!

Guess what? Then Mom brought me home to meet mai new brothers! Gandalf and Grayson are doing pretty good with letting Whitey fit into our family.
