The Gray Girl meets Whitey
Mom brought my new BrOTHER Whitey to the Swamp yesterday! I wanted to PLAY! Whitey wanted to be all grumbly and hissy. So I got put back in the bedroom. ALL DAY!
Except when I sneaked out when Mom came in to play with me. ;-)
Whitey got all growly again, but I didn't care. Then I got put back in the bedroom again. NO FAIR! So I kept putting my paws under the door and mew-mew-mewing as loud as I could. But it didn't help one little bit.
And then Mom brought Whitey back home with her to the Pecan Orchard and I got let out of the bedroom. Hooray! The End.

Oh Gracie, how exciting meeting one of your brothers!
ReplyDeleteBrothers can be hissy, but if The G's can accept Whitey (and vicey versey), then it will only be a matter of time before you are snuggling in your mommy's bed with them all!
Oh it is exciting to meet new cats. I am sorry Whitey didn't feel friendlier.
ReplyDeleteWow, you must be very excited and thrilled to meet your new brother!! I can't to wait to see him too!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I hope you can make friends with Whitey soon Gracie! He's a pretty cool dude.
ReplyDeleteSorry Whitey was a bit growly with you, Gracie. Those older guys are a bit set in their ways and get all discombobulated when a pretty little girl like you turns up. We suspect your brothers will all grow to love you...
ReplyDeleteWe are glad you got to meet your brother. Once he gets to know you we bets he loves you. ~AFSS
ReplyDeleteWell of course Whitey was hissy! He thought he was loosing his beloved home! He was homeless so long that his safe, loving environment means everything to him. Maybe your mum could try to take you over to the orchard ( when grammy and grandad go out). We think Whitey will be less threatened. We still think you are the answer to the "odd man out" situation.
ReplyDeleteWe all love you,dear.
It will take awhile for you two to become friends but I am sure it will be worth it!!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to meet your brother, even if he did hiss at you. It's because he doesn't know you but he should get better every time he sees you.
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time you stay in the crate, while Whitey gets to sniff you on his terms. He'll come to appreciate you all in good time sweetie!

Huffle told us you are having some issues at your house too with getting along. We hope it works out for you all. My house is getting crowded, and wow, you are 4 now too! We have two fosters, so that makes us 6.

Give him time sweet Gracie! Pretty soon I bet he won't stop washing you.
ReplyDeleteIt's not easy getting used to new brothers, but we think you will come to luff them, Gracie.
ReplyDeleteGracie what an exciting day! It will take a little while for you guys to get used to each other. I am sure Whitey will learn to love you very soon!

Well Gracie.....things are kind of in a uproar now...but we bet, when things settle down, that all the boys will like you!
ReplyDeleteI hope Whitey gets more freindly very soon Gracie. FAZ

ReplyDeleteMilo and Alfie xx
I guess Whitey isn't used to cute little ladycats yet.
ReplyDeleteBeing a guy, we are sure that Whitey isn't used to having sweet, little baby kittens around much and you sure are a sweet, baby kitty for sure☺
ReplyDeleteHi Gracie. Whitey probably has some anxiety that you might be replacing him...your Mom will probably have to give Whitey special attention, 'cause she knows that you're so young, you can adapt to anything!
