The Pink arrow is the area he suspects is hurting her. Dr. Tad says it is either a new injury or it's an old injury that doesn't show signs of healing and may have been re-injured, and he can't be sure. Momma suggested he call the Vet our neighbors first brought Gracie to when they caught her to compare X-rays. Dr. Tad was going to do that after Momma left.

She has swelling all around the Pink Arrow area. He aspirated the area while she was sedated and there is no fluid, so no infection, at least not yet.

She has to be confined to a crate for 2 weeks to keep her from jumping and to give it time to heal.
Dr. Tad gave Momma some Butorphanal which she can have up to 3 times a day, as needed for pain.
Poor baby girl.

Oh poor Gracie - I just wanted to cry when I saw that X-ray. If I can tell something is wrong it has to be very wrong. You can tell from the X-Ray her leg is swollen and oh, that poor baby with those three previous breaks! No wonder she is miserable. I hope the meds help her - she is going to go nuts stuck in a crate for two weeks, poor baby. We are sending her lots of purrs and prayers to feel better quickly - we know she will still be stuck in the crate but we want her to feel good whle she is in there!
