It is a very good thing Mom has me to look out for her! If I hadn't knocked those papers off her desk, she would have forgotten all about having Jury Duty!
TODAY!
I've got your back, Mom! You just go and have fun at Jury Duty. Or something like that. I'll look after the Manor. Or something like that ;0)
UPDATE: It is now over 2 weeks since there has been any marking! Everybuddy is acting like their old selves and settling into the new house at the Swamp quite nicely. Momma is thrilled!
Whitey has been off the Prozac for a week and Gandalf has been off it for 5 days. We are still using 2 Feliway diffusers; 1 in the office and 1 in the main living area. We are all wearing our Calming Collars. We love licking each other's Calming Collars!
Gracie is positively fascinated by the geese! When they come right up to the patio, she goes a little bit crazy! Gracie has rubbed heads with Grayson and Gandalf. So far, Momma has not seen Gracie and Whitey rub heads but they have done nose bonkies!
Life is good on the Swamp!

Sounds like everybuddy is learning to get along well.
ReplyDeleteBarb, we were wondering if your blog could show more than one post on the page? We love to visit but sometimes don't know if we have missed a day, and miss seeing the old posts.

ReplyDeleteWell done Gandalf. You saved your mum from getting in trouble.

ReplyDeleteGandalf...thanks for taking such good care of your mom and the "manor". What a good boy you are!
So happy to hear about the peaceful Spring at the Swamp! head butts and nose bonkies are wonderful. Maybe we need to try the Feliway diffusers...
ReplyDeleteHave fun (I guess) at jury duty! And we're so glad to hear that the marking has stopped - yay! We have a periodic problem with Dobby around here (he likes small rugs) so we always like to get advice.
ReplyDeleteOur mom wants to know where you got the big litter boxes - she has real trouble finding them.
Yay, things are going well! Except for the jury-duty thing!
ReplyDeleteWe are glad to hear that all are settling in pretty well. YEAH!!!
ReplyDeletewhat is the "calming collar"? i found something called this at PetCo, it's supposedly got lavender & i think chamomile to calm an aggressive kitty--i put it on my aggressive girl & she had a strange reaction, as though it was giving off noxious fumes. i felt so bad for her i took it off after only a few minutes. i'm glad your kitties are doing well!
ReplyDeleteYay! It sounds like everything is calming down!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so glad all is calm and well (and dry) at the Swamp!
ReplyDeleteHead bonks to all!

the spraying part makes my mom really happy too. Gandalf, you are a very good boy.
ReplyDeleteI think jury duty could be interesting... as long as it is not Grand Jury duty... those are usually not so great -- most often it is a bad case.

ReplyDeleteHope the jury duty doesn't keep your mama away from you too long.
ReplyDeleteI'm very happy to hear that things are going swimmingly at the swamp (pun intended).
A few geese in the mix must keep things interesting as well.

Glad to hear things are more zen at your household. Stress stinks!
