Calming Collar Time

Momma! It's a little past Calming Collar time! Hurry up!

We do not get paid to endorse these collars! We just believe they have really helped us remain calm around each other as we all figure out the new pecking order as well as getting settled into our new home here at the Swamp! They have a light lavender scent that Momma says is rather pleasant, too.

Right after the new collars are on we all have to spend an amazingly long period of time Lick, Lick, Lick, Licking all around our own collars. Well, the parts we can reach! Then we lick all around each other's collars periodically throughout the month. Mom believes that has helped all of us boys get use to Gracie, and she us, because we all sort of smell the same.

Of course, Grayson still does NOT like that Whitey one little bit! Nosiree! He wants to be sure you all know that THAT has NOT changed. Hiss! Whap!

30 friends chimed in...:

  1. Mommy put that collar on Tinker when he had to stay at the Vets for a few days. It seemed to help him stay calm but still he only ate when Mommy was there to visit. Gee Grayson, give it up, Whitey is a good guy...don't worry you will always be the "MAN"=^Y^=

  18. Hmmm! Maybe I should get a couple of those collars for Dylan and Domino. Dylan is the real problem because he keeps trying to mount her, but I guess they both have to smell the same.

I'm so happy that things are working out for your Gs, even if Grayson still isn't a Whitey fan. At least they tolerate each other, yes?

  20. I'm glad you guys are doing well with them. I do love the lavendar scent! I'd say our calming collars have helped the peeing issue, but not totally. And unfortunately, Snafu still beats on Angus and BJ just as much.

  21. I think we're going to get these. We're having a few 'problems' again as spring has sprung and they smell the cat that has been spraying around outside the house and garage all winter (we haven't seen him in a month, but the cats keep sniffing places). Thanks for the info!!!

  26. Our mom has wanted to get those collars for us...but when she started reading the reviews (some weren't too good...that the stuff on the collar would flake off and they had a real strong smell) she was hesitant to spend the monies on them. But knowing they work for you guys, maybe she'll get one and at least try it on Zoey (who really needs some calming!!).
