Finally Friday with Gandalf

BIG NEWS! Tomorrow is Gandalf and Grayson's Birthday! We decided to make May 1st Whitey's Birthday, too, since he was Gotcha'd in May last year. Tomorrow is also Gracie's Half-Birthday! It will be a BIG day here at our house on the Swamp!

BAD NEWS! We will not be able to blog because Momma is still painting and stuff at the Yellow house.

BEST NEWS! Momma got us a very cool gift for our Birthday, but you will have to wait until the Man in Blue Shorts delivers it before you can see it! It may be a week or maybe even two weeks. That stinks, huh? But Momma says it will be worth the wait!



Oh! And we have 4 MORE baby goosies!

Three Blind Mousies, the Movie

Guess what? Momma ordered us these wonderful Mousies from Marvelous Melissa's Etsy Shop!

The Three Blind Mice may be blind, but they sure are cute—simply felted wool sweater scraps with organic catnip rolled up inside for extra oomph.

Momma was really surprised because Grayson has never played with any mousies before and he loves these ones!

We miss you all! Mom's not sure exactly how much longer it will take to get the house all "painted and curb-appeal ready" to put on the market. In the mean time, look for us on Facebook because we'll be doing status updates and peeking in on all of you that are on Facebook!

We are very sad kitties. We have not been able to visit hardly any of you for the last 2 days, and we are afraid it is going to get worse!

On top of being gone all weekend painting and doing stuff at the Yellow house, now Momma has just begun a humongous overhaul of her business web site. Translation? She can not help us blog for a while.

We will still do a post most of the time so you can see how we're doing... and because Momma always takes photos No.Matter.What!

We'll miss visiting and commenting, but Mom promises to at least let us peek in on you in our reader from time to time!

Hey, you guys! We think we may know who hacked our gmail account yesterday! Doing something that EVIL would be SO just like them!

We hate Spam

We just got Spammed. Big time. It looks like somebuddy hijacked our gmail email account because they made it look like we sent it. It all got blocked by our filter but we wanted to let you know if you see something that looks like junk and it looks like it's from us - Don't open it, 'cause it's not from us.

Idiots.

So. We set up a new gmail account. We have not deleted the old one yet until we figure out who we need to notify of our new email address.

Spam sux.

UPDATE: We got an alert from Google that an IP address than our own accessed our gmail (from NY) and they STRONGLY SUGGESTED that we change our password, which of course we did immediately. The Florida Furkids told us the same thing happened to them. Maybe everybuddy should change their passwords ASAP!

UPDATE 2: We deleted our old gmail account. Mom says it was creeping her out too much. We don't think it will effect our feeds, but we are having to build a new Reader list. ::sigh::

Finally Friday - the Fuzzy Edition

Welcome to Friday, kitties! 

We don't know about you, but it's been a little bit crazy around here this week. Mom got real busy again yesterday and could not help us visit much again. In keeping with that "Busy Theme" - and since Mom could not even take photos - we thought we would use some of our many Outtakes.

Once again, Gandalf makes Momma think he might be part alien. His head is often the only thing out of focus!

Grayson is walking towards Momma. Can you see one of our Feliway diffusers there on the wall? We need to order some refills, Mom!

Whitey is either an alien laughing hyena or he is yawning yet again. What are the odds? Pretty good, akshully. He is one sleepy boy!

And finally, sweet Gracie. She is developing quite a floofy tail and Momma was trying to get a good photograph of it, only at that exact moment Gracie needed to groom it!

We wish you all a very Happy Friday! And Momma says TGIF, because it's been quite a week!

PS. We will be posting Gracie's Glamor Puss Saturday tomorrow, but Momma will be working at the Yellow house again this weekend so we will not be able to visit until late Saturday afternoon or maybe even Sunday.

Phresh Pheromones

Momma! It's a little past Calming Collar time! Hurry up!

We do not get paid to endorse these collars! We just believe they have really helped us remain calm around each other as we all figure out the new pecking order as well as getting settled into our new home here at the Swamp! They have a light lavender scent that Momma says is rather pleasant, too.

Right after the new collars are on we all have to spend an amazingly long period of time Lick, Lick, Lick, Licking all around our own collars. Well, the parts we can reach! Then we lick all around each other's collars periodically throughout the month. Mom believes that has helped all of us boys get use to Gracie, and she us, because we all sort of smell the same.

Of course, Grayson still does NOT like that Whitey one little bit! Nosiree! He wants to be sure you all know that THAT has NOT changed. Hiss! Whap!

Dangling Dingleberries

A truth I learned the hard way, kitties. Everybuddy was busy LOL-ing themselves into a stupor while I ran around like a crazy-cat trying to de-dingleberry my bum.

Well, everybuddy except my Nana... She was hollering and hollering to Mom that I was scraping my bum on the table.

Having floofs isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Sometimes, floofs are a liability, kitties. Srsly.

PS. We are very sorry that we were not able to visit much yesterday. Mom was super busy at the office. We barely got scritched at all. And then of course, there was that whole dingleberry incident. Don't make me go there again.

Was this the longest week, or what? That's the trouble with short weeks... they are always followed by long weeks!

Momma vacuumed and cleaned floors the other day and she found 14 mousies, 2 non-mousie toys, what remains of Gracie's favorite sparkle ball and Gracie's Pink feather wand - and that was just behind her desk!

I am a little more than 5 months old now! And as happens to all baby girl kitties, I am growing up!

For the last few days Mom says I have been chirping and trilling and just being very vocal in general. Mom also says that, thankfully, there is a cure for that. My ladygardenectomy is about 3 weeks away!

I bet I will still chirp and trill a little bit afterward, too, because I am such a happy, busy girl!

Tucker is doing a guest Mancat Monday post for us, mostly because Momma said so.

Momma got to see Tucker a lot this past weekend and he finally let Mom get a decent photograph of him. He is usually much too busy spinning, flipping, head-butting, purring and wanting butt scritches when he sees Mom.

Momma had to sneak in the bedroom and grab this one before Tucker woked up too much. And then Tucker realized it was Momma so all the other photographs are real blurry.

Finally Friday with Gandalf, the Mighty Hunter

The Mighty Hunter intently observes his prey from his favorite vantage point, high atop Mt. Paddy O'Chair.

Well, it's the best I can manage now that my hunting grounds have been limited to Inside or on my Screened patio... I am now the Mighty Hunter, Semi-Retired.

It was a lot more exciting when I could hunt Outside the confines of my patio in the green grass and under the big pecan trees, but Patio Hunting sure beats No Hunting!

Gracie's new Pink Heart toy

I like playing on my patio in the sunshines. Can you hear all my birdies serenading me? And Gandalf brought me his Pink Heart and Pink Heart Ribbon toy that our Auntie Janice made him last year. What a nice BrOTHER to give me his toy! Whitey thought he might try to take it away from me, but I gave him "the look" and he thought better of it!

Can you also see that I am beginning to use my Special Leg again? Momma is very pleased.
