He purrs!
... and he ate some crunchies!
Both of these are things he hasn't done in quite some time. I don't even remember for sure.
Makes a Momma smile.
And get a little teary-eyed. :)
If you missed it on my Facebook update yesterday, just before that deluge was due to hit us I brought Whitey in to be weighed. Much to my surprise, Dr. Tad did it himself... Whitey went from his low of 10.6 pounds on Monday up to 11.3 pounds Friday. Both Dr. Tad and I were very pleased.
But this morning? This morning Whitey jumped up onto my desk for the first time in a week and purred.
And then he ate crunchies!
Oh, and as I typed that he's just started crunching some more!!
Looky here... I think there's already been some YAY in my day! I hope you have some in yours, too!

ReplyDeleteYou have probably surfed the web for info, but here are some good links you may not have found yet:

Also, your vet probably told you this, but doxy, especially in the pill or capsule form, can cause strictures in the esophagus unless it is rinsed down completely into the stomach, so after dosing give about 6cc of water or tuna juice or watered down baby food with a syringe.
